Geometry 101

As a tribute to Buckminster Fuller and his optimism for the future of humanity and technology we borrowed some geometry for a project. The project will become public soon, but for now we just wanted to share some progress shots.

Icosahedron Prototypes

These are two preliminary units to test size, assembly, and compound mitre skills. Hand assembly poses a few issues, but they go together surprisingly well. These now need to be sanded and features need to be added to finish the project off.

What is She Holding Out There?

Each Bucky ball is around 200mm in diameter and made of pine. The final model will be slightly larger, and in hard maple. We will post the final project soon when it can be publicly released.

CEO

Well, we always joked that Craig was our CEO, and we also always joked that he would look absolutely smart in a bowtie - but the proof is in the pudding.

Introducing Craig, NDC's official CEO. Please refer all issues regarding press, distribution, and mousing to him.

Oh, and keeping in theme with teasers for our forthcoming product launch, here's a picture from our shop / self-inflicted sweatshop. But seriously, we all know that today, the product launch is eclipsed by the photo of a cat in a bowtie.
